Skeletal reconstruction is a technique used as an aid in the identification of skeletal remains when all other identifying resources have failed.

There are two different methods of facial reconstruction that can be applied to the skull.  Both techniques begin with the application of tissue depth markers.  These markers are actually erasers cut into specified lengths and glued directly on the skull.
